It’s hard to get dentists excited about dental sleep medicine.

They make it sound like it’s going to be EASY. We all know, it’s NOT!
The conclusion that lives in the minds of the average dentist is: “Sleep doesn’t work.”
I’ll be the first to admit, for about 95% of the doctors who try it, they are absolutely right. It doesn’t “work.” Because navigating the road to success in dental sleep medicine without all of the pieces puts you on a direct path to failure.
Once you do five oral appliances and don’t get paid for any of them, motivation goes out the window.
And yet, there ARE doctors succeeding. One of our members, about two years into it, just had his first month breaking $60K in sleep revenue. That’s a huge success! And it happened without having to be chained to the chair, or putting strain on your back or your neck, without having to hold a handpiece!
It didn’t happen overnight. That’s not how this business works. This is a scalable business, which means you build for the future. You make investments TODAY that bear fruit TOMORROW.
Dentistry has its benefits. Which is why it’s so attractive. You can actually get paid on DAY 1, on the very first day you open your doors. But fast forward 30 years and you still have to put in that work if you want the money to continue to flow. Building a business in dental sleep medicine is different.
Depending on your goals, you can build it so it eventually can run without you. And unlike the traditional dental model, where adding associates pretty much kills your margins, this is a business with margins that allow you to build a team and still reach YOUR financial goals.
