School taught us a few things that aren’t so helpful or profitable in real life.
One of those things is the idea that, in order to succeed, you should work on shoring up your weaknesses.
This, in my opinion, is a waste of time.
You will go SO MUCH further if you focus your time executing on your strengths, doing what you do well.
Shoring up your weaknesses is a recipe for mediocrity.
New Restfull members are faced with a choice as they get their sleep business off the ground: they can either learn to sell to doctors or they can hire someone who can already do it.
Either option is viable, either option can be extremely profitable.
But if you’re the worst salesperson in the world, it doesn’t make so much sense to work on that for five years just to develop basic sales skills. Just hire someone and move on. It doesn’t make you any “less,” it just makes you move forward more quickly.
You don’t have to be great at everything to succeed. You don’t even have to be GOOD at everything. All you need to do is figure out what you ARE great at, and then do that thing.
Hire the rest out. In dental sleep medicine, that’s the recipe for amazing growth.
If you’re ready to see how this business works the way we teach it (we’ve trained 97% of the most successful dentists in sleep,) get yourself to an upcoming Blueprint event in Baltimore, MD (September,) Kansas City, MO (October,) or Austin, TX (November.)
