Does this sound familiar? Because this is what’s happening in dentistry. Insurance is doing to dentistry exactly what it did to medicine. Insurance is terrible. It eats into your profit and you’re left dealing with the exact same overhead.
It’s hard to thrive when all the money’s going out the door. This is why dentists are really feeling the heat.
But dental sleep medicine is different. It’s not dentistry. It’s not medicine.
The business you’re actually in is durable medical equipment. Yes, you work with medical insurance but you’re doing a procedure that is WAY more profitable than anything in dentistry.
And you can grow to a level that is completely impossible in the dental or medical world.
If you want to be your own boss and THRIVE, dentistry is a hard place to do it.
